Paper Bakery NSD Blog Hop

****EDITED****
Hello all. If you came to this blog and post from Erin's blog then you are exactly where you should be BUT if you happen to stumble upon this post and want to know where the party started, hop on back here first to start the fun from the beginning.

Ok so for my Washi tape project, I decided to make a card using some of the tapes I've had in my stash....

XOXO card

There's two techniques that I used the washi tape on...

First is that I used a medium width tape, placed it on my card as a border and then spray painted my card. The tape became my mask. I then cut out a much skinnier tape and placed that in the middle. I love the look of the white border slightly showing against the blue glittered spray mist and the washi tape border.

Another thing that I did with my tape is to cover my heart chipboard. I love how the tape is self adhesive that all I had to do was literally cover up the chipboard. No prepping, no intricate technique to do but the result is super chic and has a very homemade appeal.

So there you have it. I hope you've enjoyed my portion of the hop.

Your next stop is Amanda's blog. And while you are there, check out the shop where Sarah has some great Washi tapes in stock and ready to ship.

Remember....for you to be eligible to win the prize, you need to comment on all the blogs. The hop will be go on all weekend so there's plenty of time to hop around and be inspired along the way.

Till next time,
Grace

BTW, I'm offering my own giveaway in this blog for NSD. Check out the blog later on for more details. :)

I'm not a card maker but I can definitely see using washi as a mask for all kinds of projects! Thanks for the great idea and showing off that cute little card :)
