Monthly Celebrations *May Edition*

Hello friends and happy Saturday. It's that time of the month again. I'm sharing my monthly celebration video this month along with a new sketch. You can watch Nicole's video here.

I have been working with a lot of 4x6 photos lately and so my pages will showcase that specific photo size. Of course you can add more photos to this design if you are working with smaller pictures. You can even just take one side of the sketch and make a single page layout. Either way I hope you will get inspired.

I don't have any Mother's day pictures printed so I went with a travel page. I chose this because the place we went to was the Botanical garden. Flowers reminds of Mother's day and that is the connection I used. You can watch me make this layout from start to finish here...

And here are some more close ups...

Again, thanks so much for stopping by. I hope this inspired you to play with flowers or make a page with 4x6 photos.

Check out Nicole's video here.

Till next time,
Grace

"Celebrate Love" layout

This next page was inspired by the latest sketch from Stuck?! sketches. I turned the sketch to its side and used 2 4x6 photo instead of the three small ones in the sketch.

I also moved my journaling and title a bit to fit my page orientation better.

Here are some more close ups...

This page was about an essay that my son wrote about me in school. The prompt was who is an important person in your life. And he picked me! That was so sweet of him.
Anyways to emphasize what he wrote, I found some raw chipboard brackets in my stash and added some color to them with a Heidi Swapp mist.

Thanks for stopping.

Till next time,
Grace

"Grand Mother" layout

Hi guys, it's been a while. I still create but sometimes I forget (or intentionally choose) to post my latest pages. Something to do with not having enough time in the day to do so. You know how that feels, right?

Anyways, I was inspired by my latest homemade scrapbook kit and National Scrapbook Day that happened last weekend (or was it two weekends ago? can't quite remember) and made a bunch of pages. Here's one that was inspired by the latest "issue" challenge from Paper Issues called Mom-o-gram. I wanted to document the sweet relationship of my mom to her grandkids.

If you want to check out what I had put in my homemade kit, you can watch it here....

The large letters weren't part of the kit but I loved the boldness it adds to this page.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

till next time,
Grace
