My Home Away From Home + process video

Happy Monday everyone. My last layout of the month (because I'm enjoying some vacation time right now) will be based on this sketch from Stick it Down blog...

This layout is another one made from my massive homemade scrapbook kit for the summer. I loved how the geo type paper in the background created a perfect backdrop for this travel themed layout. Instead of using two photos, I used one and then layered some pattern papers behind it to add more accents in that part of the layout.

Here's a video sharing how I created this page from start to finish..

Here's some close ups too...

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Have a great week.

Till next time,
Grace

This almost never happened + process video

Happy Friday friends. Today I'm sharing another layout using my homemade June kit. This one is based off of a sketch from Stuck?! sketch blog...

This layout was especially tough for me to create. It took me back to one of the turning moments for us with regards to whether to get our son tested for Autism spectrum or not. You can learn more about the story of this layout along with how I created this page in the video below...

And here's some more close ups...

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a creative weekend.

Wacky Straw layout + process video

Happy Tuesday friends. Today I'm sharing my second layout with my massive June homemade scrapbook kit. If you would like to see what I had put together for this month, all from my stash, click here

This layout is based off of the sketch from Paper Issues

I wanted to use this sketch because I don't normally put together my design vertically so this is a little bit out of my comfort zone. I also wanted to use up some Polaroid frames so this was a win win situation for me. You can watch the video below to see how I made this page from start to finish...

And here are some more close ups...

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have fantastic day.

Till next time,

Celebrate Summer layout

Hi crafty friends. Today I'm sharing a layout that I created with my a new set of supplies, pulled together from my stash. I say new because I over the past few months, I've been putting together a monthly kit from my stash based off a color scheme and then I use that for the entire month as I get some layouts done. They are not new items per say but more of a new kit for me.

This layout was also created for a couple of challenges. The first one is from a sketch from StuckOnUSketches blog....

The second one is from a stash challenge from Scrap our Stash. We were to use items that spell out B-R-A-D-S.
I used the following:
B- Brads
R- Ribbons
A- Ampersand
D- Dots (enamel dots)
S- Stamping

I really had a great time putting this layout together and although I had some mishaps with the stamping on the photos, I would say over all, I liked the results.

You can check out how I created this layout from start to finish here...
