Hope you are still enjoying the fun day we are having today. If this is your first time to stop by today at the blog, make sure you scroll down to two more posts as I'm participating in the Paper Bakery blog hop today and My Little Shoebox has a neat sketch challenge that I want you to check out and participate in for a chance to win some great prizes.
So for this post, I want to feature some Creative Memories layouts. Creative Memories had a week long NSD celebration complete with challenges every single day! You can see where all the fun starts here. I went through them all, you can see the post here, and picked out Wednesday's challenges to inspire me for these next creations....
Cruisin' in a Rental!
This was for the challenge of scrapbooking some latest vacation photos. Although these particular photos were from a roadtrip the family and I took in 2010, I still consider it latest since I just got the photos printed.
I had wanted to add more emphasis
to the frame to I created a frame with baker’s twine. I used some brads to
create the corners for my twine. I adhered some epoxy stickers on top of the
brads to make it match the rest of my page.
I made my own circle journaling
block by using the CM custom cutting system with the circle template and the blue
blade on one of the Enchanted Story box lined paper.
I used my flower placements as a visual triangle for the page.

Joy
This page was based off of the sketch on this post. I used 6 smaller photos instead of 3 bigger ones. I like the white space in the sketch and tried to keep that (for the most part) in my page.
I punched out some tiny snowflakes using the Snowflake mini pocket punch, stitched them into a banner and adhere them to the top of the page. With this accent, I was able to emphasize the “winter/Christmas” theme and adding banners to the page which is a big trend right now.
