July 2019 "Card Set" from the Flavors of the Month Kit from The ScrapRoom kit club

Hi guys. How's your week so far? I hope you're finding time to create even though it's summertime. Today I'm sharing some cards using more scraps from my latest  Flavors of the Month Kit from The ScrapRoom kit club.

Products used: Some FOTM mini kits combined + Embellishment kit
Stash items used: White card bases; Nested circle die cut (My Favorite Things); Glitter letter stickers (Making Memories)
Notes:
These cards were created with scraps from the various FOTM mini kits. I used a simple design for all of the cards and just switched around the papers to create 3 different looks. I also added some of the sequins in the embellishment kit for a finishing touch for each card.

here are some more close ups of each card....

"Happy Birthday" July 2019 Flavors of the Month Kit from The ScrapRoom kit club

Hi there crafty friends. Today I'd like to share a page I created using some leftovers from the latest Flavors of the Month Kit from The ScrapRoom kit club

Products used: Some FOTM mini kits combined + Embellishment kit
Stash items used: Silhouette Cameo die cut machine; White cardstock; Letter stickers (My Mind’s Eye)
Notes:
This is my extra layout for this month. I wanted to use the “scraps” of patter that was sitting on my desk and used them to create a colorful border around my photos and story. I even ripped one side of the small paper strips to add some dimension and grunge look.
I used a 6 window design and since I only had 5 photos, I used the top right to house my title.

And here are some close ups....

What is your favorite thing to do with your paper scraps? Do you have a go-to design that you use? Let me know in the comment section below.

Till next time,
Grace

"Becoming the MAN!" July 2019 Flavors of the Month Kit from The ScrapRoom kit club

Hi there crafty friends. Today I'm sharing another layout with the newest Flavors of the Month Kit from The ScrapRoom kitclub. I love the colors of this collection. It has a masculine feel but in a softer tone.

Products used: Pink Paislee “Indigo & Ivy” + Embellishment kit
Stash items used: Silhouette Cameo die cut machine; Scallop border (EK Success); Distress ink pad
Notes:
I loved how this collection had that soft but masculine touch to it. It was the perfect set of products to use for this page about my oldest son learning to shave for the very first time.
The title words were cut out from the Cameo machine and because the colors were pretty light, it was getting lost in the background. To make that stand out a little bit more, I rubbed some distress ink onto the background pattern paper before adhering the letters.

And here's the video that goes along with this page...

And some more close ups...

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you all have a crafty day.

Till next time,
Grace

"Pioneer's Museum Memories" July 2019 Flavors of the Month Kit from The ScrapRoom kit club

Happy Independence Day to my American friends. What's your plans for the day? Does it include some firewords and BBQ? That's the agenda around here. And don't forget to take pictures. Once you've preserved those precious memories through photos, print them out and use the Bella Blvd "Firewords and Freedome" collection to scrapbook it. This is one of the mini collections from the latest Flavors of the month kit from The ScrapRoom kit club. It's the perfect grouping of photos for any projects that have a patriotic theme.

Products used: Bella Blvd. “Fireworks & Freedom” + Embellishment kit
Stash items used: Silhouette Cameo die cut machine; White cardstock (Bazzill); Vellum;
Notes:
In this particular event, I had printed a lot more photos that I could fit into the double page spread. And I even had to get rid some of them because I just couldn’t fit them all. But seeing, the final result, I like how I was able to include many photos plus had enough room for a title block, journaling spot and decorations here and there. I especially adored the die cuts in this collection. They are so cute.

And here's the video for this one...

And some more close ups...

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you all have a great 4th of July day.

Till next time,
Grace

"Viva Summertime" July 2019 Flavors of the Month Kit from The ScrapRoom kit club

Hi there friends. I'm here to share another new layout from the latest Flavors of the Month Kit from The ScrapRoom kitclub. I love the colors of this collection. It's the perfect set of products to commemorate some fun summer activities.

Products used: PhotoPlay “Squeeze in Some Fun” + Embellishment kit
Stash items used: Silhouette Cameo die cut machine
Notes:
I love the colors of these papers. Since my page is all about a trip to the local ice cream shop, I decided to cut out some of the beautiful papers into ice cream scoops and cones. I even used a couple of the citrus stickers as my “cherry” on the top of my ice creams. I love how it turned out.

And here's the process video that shows how I created this page...

Make sure you check back again soon for another new layout share.

"Aye, Aye, Captain!" July 2019 Flavors of the Month Kit from The ScrapRoom kit club

It's a new month and that means another kit was released from The ScrapRoom kit club. Here's my first page from the latest kit. It was also inspired by latest sketch challenge...

Products used: Simple Stories “Cruisin” + Embellishment kit
Stash items used: Scallop border punch (Fiskars); White and Yellow Cardstock;
Notes:
This page is based off of the sketch for this month. The sketch called for 5 photos but I only have four so I used one of the spaces as my title block. Speaking of the title block, that is actually one of the 3x4 cut apart piece from the pattern paper. I love how we can get so many designs from those kinds of papers.
I love how this sketch shows multiple photos since I have a hard time documenting our events with just one photo. I also adore this collection. It’s so cute and the perfect products for these photos of my son while pretending to be a pirate at a library event.

And here's the video of my process for this page....

And here are some more close ups...

Make sure you check out The ScrapRoom kit club website for more information on the challenges this month. You don't have to be a kit subscriber to join in. :)

Till next time,
