Inlove with Rosa Moka.....

Coconut Scrapshop's August kit was filled with these yummy papers. I have to admit at first, the designs were too out of my comfort zone. Very artsy for me but with a little fun music in the background I dug into it and created! Here's what I came up with....

The finer things in life

These hambly transparencies was really very intimidating to work with. I really had no clue how I was going to incorporate the victorian design into my layouts but then after staring at it for a little bit, I decided to incorporate the fancy detail of the paper into a theme for a page hence the title- "finer things in life"

I took a picture of it close to the window so you can see the clear transparent at it's best.

Supplies used:
Transparency- Hambly Studios; Green pattern paper and letter stickers- Rosa Moka; Lace Cardstock- KI Memories; Gel flowers- Heidi Swapp; Buttons-SEI; journaling block- source unknown; Paint- White, Making Memories

Cakes made with love

With this one, I wanted to keep focus on my pictures. I haven't done an 11x8.5 size page in a while it was fun making this page. Played with the pom poms and felt fusion. Things that helped emphasize my theme.

Supplies used:
Papers- Rosa Moka; Lace cardstock- KI Memories; Pompoms- source unknown; Felt swirls- Felt fusion, Queen and Company; Felt letters- Prima; Staples and stapler.

You are my friend

Another one that surprised me at how fast this all came together. Seriously music is helping the creative juices flow for me. Maddie likes to say this to me lately. She's very cute.
*Tip- When you have a paper that you think has too much design to work with, why don't you cut out those intricate designs and use those as subtle embellishments. That's what I did with the branch of leaves. I cut it out from one of the Rosa Moka paper and THEN I discovered that the image looked better with the square pattern (which was on the other side of the paper). So I turned it over and adhered it like that.

Supplies used: Papers and letter stickers- Rosa Moka; Felt swirls- Felt Fusion, Queen and Company; Chipboard block- Rhonna Farrer; buttons-SEI

Spread your wings and fly card

I love it when inspiration strikes just by looking, ok more like staring, at papers. This is another one that got made just bec. I love the butterflies on the pattern paper. Since my card was a small project, I layered a lot here so I can incorporate a lot of yummy goodness together!! *wink*

Supplies used: Paper and letter stickers- Rosa Moka; Lace cardstock- KI Memories; gel circles- Heidi Swapp; Buttons- SEI; white cardstock- Source unknown.

So that's it! If you're inspired by the kit, like I was and want to play with these products, get it here.

Have a great day everyone,
Grace
