Layout Update #10

Happy Monday dear crafty friends. We are on the last layout for this series. Did you enjoy it? Did it inspire you to pull some older layouts and find inspiration from them? For this last one, I am pulling inspiration from this layout...

I used to really try to save my scrapbook papers. I try to find many different ways of using papers sparingly but make it look like there's a lot of it in a layout. 

I liked the circles and I used the above layout as a sketch inspiration. I don't scrimp and save all my pattern papers, but I still like the circle accents and it fit this particular story with floating down the river.

Layout Update #9

Hello crafty friends. We are nearing the end of this series. It's always kind of bittersweet when I'm close to ending a series. And looking back, I'm always grateful for the ideas that I tried to see through. I'm always growing through these self imposed challenges. For this one, I noticed that I used to really like to frame some thing important on my layout with embellishments. Whether that's flowers or stickers. 

So for this particular layout, I decided to recreate those "frames" and used numbers to match the year that my children are going to be start in this first day of school layout.

Layout Update #8

Hello friends and happy first week of December. Can you believe it? One of my favorite "oldie but a goodie" layout is the following....

There's so many things that I love about this page. The most valuable is the journaling list of our favorites. I thought I'd try to recreate that. I didn't have random photos to put together. But I did have some Valentine's pictures and thought I'd do my journaling of what I love about this specific memory.
