Build a Snowman *Inspired By Stamping*

Welcome to the last day of blog hop for the September release event for Inspired by Stamping. Today's share is all about the cute Build a Snowman stamp set.

Christmas Memories card

I printed off a Christmas printable piece from IBS to house my adorable snowman. I had fun with this stamp set.I stamped the body and all of my accents for him (arms, hat and scarf) on white cardstock. Trimmed it and then adhered it to the snowman. I used colored pencils to add some color to the hat and scarf. I then stamped the face features onto the snowman body to give him some "personality". 

Joy card

With this card, I layered some holiday papers and used a journaling block paper to house my snowman. I used the same cardstock color for his hat and scarf. I stamped the sentiment image on white cardstock and heat embossed it with gold. I continued the gold theme with a sheer ribbon.

September Stamp release *Inspired By Stamping*

I can't believe that Christmas is just around the corner. We've hit the "ber" months and that means only one thing...the Holidays are upon us. Celebrations of all kinds will be going on in the next few months and what better way to get prepared than to start those Christmas cards early or "earlier" this year.

Well I got some good news for you. Inspired by Stamping September release is just the right package of holiday stamps that you will need to bring some "handmade" touch to your holiday projects. 

Today's release shares are the Holiday Sentiment and Holiday Washi tape stamps. Here's the projects that I made with these sets...

Merry Little Christmas card

I printed off one of the printable tags that IBS is offering this month and then stamped my sentiment in the center with brown ink. I then used the Washi tape stamps as border strips, stamping them in red and light blue (to match the border color of the printable tag) and then cut them into strips then adhered them to my card. I also added a red flower (available in the IBS store) to add some textured accent in my card. 

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year card

With this project, I used the Washi Tape stamped strips as banner strips on my card. I punched out a decorative frame from white cardstock and used that to hold my stamped sentiment. I inked the edged with red ink pad to make it stand out better against the background.

Happy Birthday card *Inspired By Stamping*

Hi there friends. 

Even though we are weeks away from the start of the Fall season, I'm still in the Summer mindset and you can definitely see that in the color choices I made with this card. It's my version of a Summer Soiree.

I love the background stamps from Inspired by Stamping and in this card, I used them to create a fun dot design on the bottom of the card. I also used a fancy frame stamp to hold my sentiment. This is a pretty simple card from me but that's the good thing about experimenting and going out of your comfort zone, you never know what you're going to come up with.

Inspired By Stamping May Release share 2

Did you enjoy the card/project shares from yesterday's blog hop? Well here's another one from me featuring some Background Basics stamp (new release) and sentiment from Small Fancy Labels 1 set. You can check out these and the other stamps from Inspired of Stamping here. 

A Gift For You Card

I created my script background by stamping the background basic script stamp over and over again on white cardstock and then trimmed to fit my card. I also stamped a circle dot stamp to create my own paper strip with a notch on the end. 

I added a sentiment stamp on circle paper, cut it out in a circle and adhered on a scallop die cut circles. 

Butterflies punched out from pattern paper finished my card.

Inspired by Stamping May Release share 1

Hi friends. Today's my day to share with you what I've done with the upcoming May stamp release from Inspired by Stamping. 

Faith Make Things Possible Card

I wanted to do my version of an ombre background so I used some yellow, orange and red ink pads to stamp my chevron background which is part of the Background Basics set. 

I also used a circle stamp from the Fancy Circles set to hold my red and white flower. Then I heat embossed my sentiment using the Big Hope stamp and white embossing powder.

The Easter Story layout featuring the Circle Stamp set from Inspired By Stamping

and here we go again with another layout featuring a different stamp set which is being released this month by Inspired by Stamping...

The Easter Story

Last year on the Monday prior to Easter Sunday we had a themed Family Home Evening lesson around Christ's last week here on earth. I found this great idea online incorporating scriptures verses with objects that corresponds with that part of the story. It was a good spiritual activity for the family and it helps us all be reminded of the true meaning of Easter. 

In this layout, I used the stamps first as a border. I wanted the border to mimic my colorful plastic eggs in the photos so I stamped the circles using different inks and then covering them halfway with photos so all you see are scallop circles. I also stamped the circles on white cardstock, cut it out with circle punch and then added another muted paper on the center then placed these circles in three different locations on my page to create a visual triangle. 

Supplies Used: Cardstock, Pattern papers, letter stickers, vellum, buttons,twine, computer printed journaling,  circle punch, stamps and ink pads.

Our Princess layout featuring Princess stamp set from Inspired By Stamping

Hi friends. So today I'm super excited to finally share with you a layout I made with the Princess stamp set from Inspired by Stamping. It's one of the March releases.

and here's my layout...

Our Princess

I thought that the stamp was perfect for this layout of my daughter wearing one of her favorite princess costumes. I had a blast adding stamped images on my layout. I used the crown stamp to add some design to my white ribbon, I created a border with the a stamped image, I stamped the castle, scepter and crown images on light pink paper and then cut them out to create my own embellishments on the page and then I added some stamped words on pattern paper to create my own festive flags.  

Supply list: Cardstock, Pattern paper, envelope, toothpick, letter stickers, border punch, thread and sewing machine, ribbon, twine, button, stamps and ink pads.

IBSIC #47

Happy Wednesday everyone. Today I'm sharing with you the latest challenge inspiration over at the Inspired by Stamping challenge blog. My favorite color is purple, I even used the lighter hue lavender as my wedding colors so when I saw the color combination in the inspiration board, I was ecstatic. See it for yourself...

and here's my take on the inspiration...

A gift for you card

The drapes/curtains in the image also inspired me so I cut the bottoms of my pattern papers into ribbon notches and made them all go vertical kinda like how the curtains where displayed.

I used this stamp set for the circles and this one for the sentiment both from Inspired by Stamping on this card.

and as an added bonus, IBSIC is now adding a new monthly challenge to go with the inspiration board challenges. This month we want you to use bows in your projects.

Happy Valentine's day friends! I hope you have a great "hearts" day. I have a day full of activities but before I go out and "spread the love" let me share with you the latest challenge at IBSIC...

I love the soft colors on the inspiration board. Oh and those cupcakes are making me feel hungry too. *wink*

and here's my take on the inspiration..

You are so thoughtful card

I used the brown as the background for my card. I love how the dark color made all my lighter colors stand out. I used white as a secondary primary color. It was a great neutral to connect all the colors together.

I decided to layer a lace over silk ribbon in this card. The pink lace added some texture to the otherwise plain white ribbon.

I used some Inspired by Stamping stamps to create my sentiment. I also used IBS die for matting my sentiment block. I added the doile in the back because it reminded me of the sweet cupcake in the inspiration board.

So there you have it. I hope you play along with us this week.

Missing You card

I used the Dear Lizzy's Neapolitan papers and vellum. They had that perfect soft pink hue in the papers. I wanted to incorporate the roses in the prompt so I went through all of my floral stamps and luckily found this rose one which I stamped on white cardstock with red ink and then cut them out. They were the perfect handmade accent to my soft card.
