"Hello Friend" shaker card (Glue Dots and Pretty Pink Posh blog hop)


A very big crafty hello and welcome to our very special blog hop collaboration with Pretty Pink Posh & Glue Dots! 

We are going to bring you a fun blog hop where there are PRIZES from both companies up for grabs, along with inspiration and videos. Here's my contribution to the bloghop....




“Hello Friend” card
Time: 45 minutes
Level: Intermediate
Size:  4 ¼ x 5 ½”

Notes: The inspiration for this card came from the sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. I even used the color scheme from the pack to pick the inks that I would use for the butterflies. I also love how Glue Dots® makes it easy for me to add little items like the shaker pouch and the letters on my card without any mess.

Materials
•        Card base- Die Cuts With a  View
•        Cardstock- Earth Tone Cardstock Pack, The Paper Studio
•        Sequins- Nature Mix, Pretty Pink Posh
•        Sheet protector- Staples

Tools:
•        Mini dot, Glue Dots®
•        Pop Up, Glue Dots®
•        Stamp- Butterfly friends, Pretty Pink Posh
•        Die- Hello Shaker, Pretty Pink Posh
•        Inks- (Evergreen bough, Mermaid lagoon, Hickory smoke, Cracked pistachio, Shabby shutters, Tumbled glass, Tea dye, Ground espresso, Crushed olive) Distress mini ink pads, Ranger

•        Fuse took- We R Memory Keepers

    First of all, I love the colors that you chose for your shaker card. It still looks like fall, but a little less traditional and more creative! Second, I just found your blog and I love the way you lay everything out. Makes everything so easy to follow!

    Oh Grace, your butterfly shaker card is really something special! The colors are so bright and fresh and such a clever idea to make this a shaker card with dimension. Such a cheerful card :) TFS!

    I love your card and am fascinated with the Glue Dots. I was not familiar with this brand prior to this hop but.... How cool are these products! Glue Dots for sequins, yes I'm a happy camper right now lol. I also like the way you made the pouch for your shaker, I am definitely switching to your way instead of the foam tape way I've been doing. THANK YOU for sharing your card and all the inspiration.
